This is for those who carry the Pembrokeshire coast in their hearts, even when they are miles away.
We all have that one place where the world finally feels quiet. For many of us, it’s standing on the coastal path seing Whitesands in the distance. The breeze whispering as you walk on.
In this painting, I didn’t want to just paint a beach; I wanted to paint the sensation of being there. The colors are deliberately soft—hazy teals and sun-bleached pinks—to mirror the way memories of summer afternoons feel: a little blurred, glowing at the edges, and deeply comforting.
It’s a tribute to those slow walks toward the water’s edge and the feeling of belonging to the landscape. This piece is a window back to those moments of pure, uncomplicated freedom.
