Kate Kelly Coastal Artist. Brightly coloured large painting showing the wispy trails of coloured clouds dance across the sky to the horizon, which rich pinks, oranges set against a blue and white sky. The bottom third of painting shows this sunset reflected in the sea below and so is full of pinks and purples. The distant headland on the left and the grasses foreground of the hill top is rendered in rich deep colours of blue, pinl, orange.

First exhibiting in the Blue Coat and Corner House galleries in Liverpool in the 1990s, I have since showed my work in many galleries and art spaces. Recent years have seen solo exhibitions @ St David’s Cathedral, Picton Castle (Stately Home & RHS Gardens), Melin Tregwynt (Woollen Mill) and The Mill (Arts Centre) – Trefin.

Poster from Kate Kelly's London exhibition for Welsh contemporary artists

In 2021 I joined the FAS committee to help organise events and promote creative work. In 2019 I was delighted to present many of my paintings in the ‘Wild Pembrokeshire’ exhibit at the prestigious Royal Welsh Show in Builth Wells.
